The Holey Donuts!™ Story
Born into the donut business, our founder and CEO of Holey Donuts!™ learned how to cut donuts
by hand from his father, who was one of the first franchisees with one of the world's largest
donut chains back in 1958.
His love for donuts caused him to wonder what would happen if there was a way to avoid making such a greasy, fattening donut. Then one day he walked away from the deep fat fryer and Holey Donuts!™ was born. At first bite we said "HOLEY #@$#*&! These are really good!" Thus, the name Holey Donuts!™.
We never use any added chemicals or artificial sweeteners to make our low fat donuts. We begin with a wheat based yeast donut mix, and then we use the lost art of hand rolling and donut cutting. After proofing, we cook our donuts employing our patented process that avoids deep frying. Finally, each donut is hand filled and frosted before being flash frozen and shipped to you in our state of the art frozen packaging via FedEx.
